Field to Fabric
During Scarletts final year at university, she created ‘Field to Fabric’ her final major project. The intentions behind this project were to create a collection of fabrics as sustainable, ethical and traditional as possible.
Scarlett collected wasted fleeces from farmers in Surrey and Sussex , processing them herself and hand spinning into yarns using a traditional ashford spinning wheel. She created a collection of over 30 fabrics all handwoven using natural fibres.
