Private Commission - Handspun Throws

A recent private commission for a flock owner of Hebridean and Kerry Hill sheep involved weaving two throws in inverted colourways. The yarns were spun and woven entirely from their 2025 shearling fleeces, which were spun in the grease over the course of a month. The throws were woven at the Hugo Burge Foundation as part of the Springboard Studio Residency Programme.
